I first became interested in studying the body when introduced to Ashtanga Yoga in 2011 during my initial years in college. Through developing my own body awareness I noticed how the practice of yoga not only transformed me physically, but supported my mental and emotional health as well. In 2014, I moved to Asheville to attend The Asheville School of Massage and Yoga where I received my initial Massage Therapy training. Upon graduation I continued to further my studies primarily in Thai Massage, studying with world renowned teachers in the field. I’ve also studied Prenatal Massage and Doula support, Craniosacral Therapy, Thai Medical Theory for Bodyworkers and Herbalism. In 2016 I completed a Yoga Teacher Training and went on to teach on a volunteer basis to the Asheville community in both studio setting and through Light A Path, a local non-profit bringing somatic therapies to underserved populations in WNC. My approach to massage and bodywork therapy is slow paced, mindful and detail oriented; giving you space to receive nourishing nervous system support and therapeutic touch. Through a trauma-mindful lens, I have created a professional and comfortable experience for my clients. It is my honor to assist you in feeling relaxed, pain free and at home in your own body.

“Shea is an incredible technician and kind practitioner who offers the most beneficial & healing Thai massage I have ever had. My body feels more limber and more relaxed after each treatment, and I think I get longer/taller too! I highly recommend Shea and am grateful for her service.”
